I’ve been walking the same route through the woods for years, usually in the afternoons if the weather’s decent.
There’s a path on the south side that doesn’t show up properly on maps anymore, but it’s still there if you know where to look. It cuts behind the treeline and comes out near the stream.
I started bringing an old camera with me recently. Not for any particular reason. It still works and I like not using my phone for everything.
Anyhow, I noticed a couple of strange carvings on a couple of the tree trunks. I took a picture of them. Not sure wat they were. I’ll post once ive had the pictures developed soon (still got a good few pics to take before the the reel is filled). Hoping someone sees this and can help shed some light on it. If its just vandals or teens, then I hope they are found and punished.
I don’t expect this to be interesting to anyone else. I just wanted somewhere to keep track of things.
